Point 65 Martini GTX Tandem Modular Kayak

The Point 65 Martini GTX is a fun, versatile, and high-performance kayak with a roomy and comfortable cockpit, making it easy to handle in and out of the water. This is by far the easiest-to-carry recreational kayak on the market, making it perfect for both kids and adults.

The solo configuration uses 2 sections (front & back) and the tandem uses 3 sections (front, middle, back), and these pieces snap together and apart in seconds, thanks to Point 65’s revolutionary Snap-Tap technology.

The Martini GTX "snaps" apart into a back and front section (the tandem version has a back, front, and middle section) and re-assembles in seconds. The coolest part about this is that you can have a solo and a tandem kayak in one!

For those days you go out by yourself, leave out the mid section and you have a solo kayak. Bring someone along and snap in a mid section for a tandem kayak! Or bring the whole party and snap in several mid sections!

The Martini GTX features thigh braces for improved control, multiple cup holders, an integrated rudder, and easily adjustable rudder pedals. The large, oval and smaller, round dry-hatches give you plenty of bone-dry storage space.

Add the optional fitted spray cover and enjoy a dry ride, even in the roughest conditions. The Martini GTX is prepared to accommodate aftermarket fishing equipment, and its multiple paddleparks frees your hand to handle all the fishing you need. The molded in fish-o-meter helps in measuring your catch.

The Martini GTX is also equipped with Point 65’s AIR seat. The AIR seat is super comfortable and has a pneumatically adjustable backrest. It’s made of honey-comb patterned material in combination with mesh-like fabric, which is laminated and molded over EVA foam. A hand pump allows the user to adjust the firmness.

Great product

Great product. yet, the assemble has taken some getting used to. We are not to the point of the "10 second" assemble the company says.

Tandem Kayak

We took our Kayak out on its maiden voyage last weekend. The assembly/disassembly was super easy and quick even being my first time!!! It moved through the water great and tracking was excellent! Only issue was with me being 6' tall it was a tight fit. Great service from Matt on keeping me updated on delivery issues. Would recommend this Kayak to others!! Oh, I already did!!

Great! tight if you are tall

Great Kayak. I can throw it in the back of my kia sportage without help.
With 2 people at high speed the front creates a wake and slows down, which is not important to me as its just for recreation. I'm 5.11, my mom and dad 6.0 and 6.2. It is a pretty tight fit. I don't think someone taller than 6.2 would fit at all, and 6.0 seems to be the max in the front when put together for 2 people.
Over all I'm very happy with it and happy that it allows me to independently load and unload.
I was super happy with communication and help from Kayak Creek despite the expected COVID shipping delays.

Awesome kayak that makes it easy to hit the water!

The modular kayak is the kayak for those who have been eyeing a kayak, but worried about the transport. I can fit the 3 pieces of my tandem kayak and gear in the back of my compact car and still fit a passenger. The parts snap together pretty easily once you get the hang of it. I practiced a few times in the backyard before taking it out. I have gotten many inquiries from friends and people who see me put it together at the water's edge. It really does solve the logistics issue of having to lug around a long boat. I love that I can put 2 pieces together to kayak alone and put 3 pieces together to have a tandem. I was a bit worried about the buckles breaking, but bought a few $20 buckles and $8 straps to keep with me to have if needed. Matt was great to work with an answered all my questions.

Great Service

Great company to deal with. Matt worked hard to work out the details of getting me a canoe to me while I was on the road.

He arranged for me to pick my Frontier 12 in Denver, then when the manufacturer couldn’t fulfill my paddle order, he found a paddle for me through a competitor and arranged for it to be delivered to my next destination.

Then...... when I decided to purchase a casting bar Matt again worked out the details of getting it to me while I was still traveling.

His service was definitely above and beyond what one normally gets from even companies that offer great service.

Thanks for all your hard work Matt! You helped make an incredible fishing summer!
