Vanhunks Orca 13' Tandem / Solo Fishing Kayak

The Orca 13’0 is Vanhunks' largest and most versatile tandem and solo fishing kayak. Unrivaled with all its characteristics: spacious, versatile, easily maneuverable, accelerating, adaptable, responsive, stable, and straight tracking are just a few of the characteristics to use when describing this predator.

Vanhunks' goal was to create a most versatile vessel and after spending more than two years in research and development, Vanhunks is happy to present the market with this beast.

Orca’s seating diversity makes it great for fishing on all kinds of water as it easily adapts to both solo and tandem seating. In tandem mode, both adjustable aluminum seats are fitted onto adjustable slider tracks to ensure a comfortable position without much effort.

The Aluminum seats are spacious and raised, ensuring you are not going to get soaked by any spray water pooling in the seating area. With ample room to move around, entry and exit is easy and so is gear access. Recline your seat for a laid back paddle position, or secure it more upright for moments when you need to dash forward quickly.

The Orca features hull technology that combines all its most significant aspects throughout the entire design, making for ultimate performance in multiple water environments. In addition to a flat platform in the deck area for standing and freedom of movement, the Orca boasts state-of-the-art outfitting, which includes expansive rails and a multitude of storage choices. A one-handed rudder control next to the back paddler allows for easy maneuvering.

    Gorgeous color

    I received my Point65 Mojito kayak today. It arrived in good condition.

    I was most surprised and PLEASED with the color. I ordered “yellow” vs. “red”, the two choices offered. My kayak is definitely NOT YELLOW. It is a paler creamy orange, with almost a hint of fluorescent to it. It LOOKS GREAT. To my eye, this color is much better than red or yellow. Had this been a color choice, I would have picked it. I point this out because someone with their heart set on a true yellow might be disappointed.

    Thanks for a good purchase experience.

    Easy to Install

    Bracket installs easily with a single bolt. Im using it with a 55lb thrust troll motor and so far it holds up well at full power. No complaints

    great option!

    this was the perfect solution for my perception hook angler, not the greatest kayak in terms of having options for mounting gear tracks or fish finders but this made a very simple solution for just about all of my needs. had a slight machining defect in one of the lock n load slots but it's not a huge deal for me to not use that one.

    After some questions about whether it was the correct size, I was told to use silicone spray to enable easy placement of the hatch cover. It works great! Such a quick turn around from order to delivery. And great communication with Kayak about my problems with getting the hatch cover on my boat.

    Well made, works great!

    I have had this kayak for almost 20 years. Bought before Innova owned the company! It has been durable & fun. With the tracking fin it does great on even large lakes, Table Rock & Rend Lakes. Light weight so I can pack it into smaller bodies of water, strip pits, ponds, & creeks. Great on Ozark streams & rivers. Comfortable & handles choppy waters well! Just don’t over inflate & keep out of the sun when not on the water!

    Great company to deal with. Matt worked hard to work out the details of getting me a canoe to me while I was on the road.

    He arranged for me to pick my Frontier 12 in Denver, then when the manufacturer couldn’t fulfill my paddle order, he found a paddle for me through a competitor and arranged for it to be delivered to my next destination.

    Then...... when I decided to purchase a casting bar Matt again worked out the details of getting it to me while I was still traveling.

    His service was definitely above and beyond what one normally gets from even companies that offer great service.
