Kayaks decent

The kayaks decent, the manufacture failed in the QC department and forgot to install several things that they sent me and I had to install not a big deal as long as your comfortable drilling holes. I don't think its as stable as they make it out to be. I can stand on it, but not confidently even with the X-seat having that casting bar. The bottom is a bit flexible as well as some vertical parts, like the shelf that the seat sits on when you have it in the high position. I have cheaper kayaks, under $800, that seem to be built stiffer. The rear tank well is pretty big, you'll have to shove a lot of stuff in there if you just want the bungees to hold it down. The live well works as long as you're ok with drilling that 1" hole in the bottom of your new kayak. Happy to report that it did not leak at all. You need to keep the flow down pretty low or to much water builds up inside the well and will push the center cup up in the small hatch if you open it up you wont be able to get it shut again without opening the large hatch to pull the cup back down, They might want to make that cup into some kind of twist design to keep it in place. I have the rudder kit and haven't got it installed, but it will be almost useless I think. I'm 6'2" and my feet hardly reach over the live well hatch at least from the X-seat, the foot pegs are only on maybe the 4th position back you can just see the first bolts in the rails.

Gorgeous color

I received my Point65 Mojito kayak today. It arrived in good condition.

I was most surprised and PLEASED with the color. I ordered “yellow” vs. “red”, the two choices offered. My kayak is definitely NOT YELLOW. It is a paler creamy orange, with almost a hint of fluorescent to it. It LOOKS GREAT. To my eye, this color is much better than red or yellow. Had this been a color choice, I would have picked it. I point this out because someone with their heart set on a true yellow might be disappointed.

Easy to Install

Bracket installs easily with a single bolt. Im using it with a 55lb thrust troll motor and so far it holds up well at full power. No complaints

great option!

this was the perfect solution for my perception hook angler, not the greatest kayak in terms of having options for mounting gear tracks or fish finders but this made a very simple solution for just about all of my needs. had a slight machining defect in one of the lock n load slots but it's not a huge deal for me to not use that one.

After some questions about whether it was the correct size, I was told to use silicone spray to enable easy placement of the hatch cover. It works great! Such a quick turn around from order to delivery. And great communication with Kayak about my problems with getting the hatch cover on my boat.

Well made, works great!

I have had this kayak for almost 20 years. Bought before Innova owned the company! It has been durable & fun. With the tracking fin it does great on even large lakes, Table Rock & Rend Lakes. Light weight so I can pack it into smaller bodies of water, strip pits, ponds, & creeks. Great on Ozark streams & rivers. Comfortable & handles choppy waters well! Just don’t over inflate & keep out of the sun when not on the water!

Great company to deal with. Matt worked hard to work out the details of getting me a canoe to me while I was on the road.

He arranged for me to pick my Frontier 12 in Denver, then when the manufacturer couldn’t fulfill my paddle order, he found a paddle for me through a competitor and arranged for it to be delivered to my next destination.

Then...... when I decided to purchase a casting bar Matt again worked out the details of getting it to me while I was still traveling.
