Innova Safari 330 Inflatable Kayak SAF-330-2017

 

The Innova Safari 330 is a sports kayak with a self-bailing bottom suitable for rivers up to Gr. 3 white water, coastal kayaking or surfing. The new SAFARI 330 is longer, wider and more stable than its precursor. It is spacious enough to fit well-built kayakers and, thanks to significantly improved stability, suitable even for less experienced paddlers. The stern and bow can accommodate dry bags with your personal gear. Elastic ropes secure the bags in place.

        Love the Innova Safari

        This is my third purcahse of an Innova Safari. Great inflatible boat. It has a fin and tracks well, is large enough to accommodate gear for short trips and is comfortable to paddle.

        A great class III capable craft for a low cost

        I finally took my new Safari 330 out. I did a a 25 km class II-III paddle, in 2 degrees C and with rain the whole time (drysuit on). It was a blast! I took it down 4-5 ft drops/waterfalls and it handled well - the thigh straps make a big difference, not to mention the self-bailing feature. I like the seat a lot more than I expected I would. The foot rest too (when I adjusted it to its shortest setting).
        It is quite speedy for a 10 ft long inflatable, but yet stable.

        It will be my boat of choice for an expedition on hundreds of kilometers of class II-IV river in the extremely isolated north. However, I will take precautions by re-inforcing the already tough bottom with extra rubber strips and taking a repair kit with me.

        Gorgeous color

        I received my Point65 Mojito kayak today. It arrived in good condition.

        I was most surprised and PLEASED with the color. I ordered “yellow” vs. “red”, the two choices offered. My kayak is definitely NOT YELLOW. It is a paler creamy orange, with almost a hint of fluorescent to it. It LOOKS GREAT. To my eye, this color is much better than red or yellow. Had this been a color choice, I would have picked it. I point this out because someone with their heart set on a true yellow might be disappointed.

        Thanks for a good purchase experience.

        Easy to Install

        Bracket installs easily with a single bolt. Im using it with a 55lb thrust troll motor and so far it holds up well at full power. No complaints

        great option!

        this was the perfect solution for my perception hook angler, not the greatest kayak in terms of having options for mounting gear tracks or fish finders but this made a very simple solution for just about all of my needs. had a slight machining defect in one of the lock n load slots but it's not a huge deal for me to not use that one.

        After some questions about whether it was the correct size, I was told to use silicone spray to enable easy placement of the hatch cover. It works great! Such a quick turn around from order to delivery. And great communication with Kayak about my problems with getting the hatch cover on my boat.

        Well made, works great!

        I have had this kayak for almost 20 years. Bought before Innova owned the company! It has been durable & fun. With the tracking fin it does great on even large lakes, Table Rock & Rend Lakes. Light weight so I can pack it into smaller bodies of water, strip pits, ponds, & creeks. Great on Ozark streams & rivers. Comfortable & handles choppy waters well! Just don’t over inflate & keep out of the sun when not on the water!

        Great company to deal with. Matt worked hard to work out the details of getting me a canoe to me while I was on the road.

        He arranged for me to pick my Frontier 12 in Denver, then when the manufacturer couldn’t fulfill my paddle order, he found a paddle for me through a competitor and arranged for it to be delivered to my next destination.

        Then...... when I decided to purchase a casting bar Matt again worked out the details of getting it to me while I was still traveling.

        His service was definitely above and beyond what one normally gets from even companies that offer great service.
