Point 65 Tequila! GTX Angler Solo Modular Kayak - Green Cammo 015301210225
The Tequila! GTX Angler modular fishing kayak by Point 65 is quite possibly the most versatile sit on top fishing kayak on the market. Like all of Point 65’s modular kayaks, the Tequila! GTX Angler features their revolutionary Snap-Tap technology. This Snap-Tap system allows the kayak to snap apart into manageable sections and reassemble in seconds. This makes transporting and storing it a breeze! It easily fits inside most cars and can be stored under your bed! A tracking keel ensures that the extremely safe, stable, and strong Tequila! GTX Angler paddles as straight as an arrow.
Possibly the coolest feature of the Tequila! GTX Angler is its ability to “transform” from a 10’ solo kayak to a 14’ high-performance tandem kayak, simply by “snapping in” a middle section. Have a 3-man fishing crew or just a lot of gear? No problem! You can add a SECOND middle section to create a third seat - or just for a place to put extra tackles and coolers!
From lake and river fishing to open ocean, the Tequila! GTX Angler is equipped for fishing, and is packed with all of the “must have” features that kayak anglers demand. The solo and mid sections come equipped with rod holders, two of which are integrated and flush-mounted behind the seat, and one is on a deck mount in front of the paddler. You can also easily remove the deck mounted rod holder and replace it with any compatible hardware of your liking. In addition, the Tequila! GTX Angler Solo as well as the mid section is equipped with two additional deck mounts to enable the owner to add more rod holders or other equipment.
To top all this off is Point 65’s extremely comfortable AIR seat. The AIR seat features a pneumatically adjustable backrest, which provides ultimate comfort and an adjustable seating position to the paddler. The cover is made from highly durable honey-comb patterned material in combination with mesh-like fabric, which is laminated and molded over EVA foam.
To sum it all up, the Point 65 Tequila! GTX Angler is a mean, versatile fishing machine.

About Point 65
Point 65 Beginnings
The idea behind Point 65 came from the magical place of Point 65° North. It is the island, Rönnskär, near the Northern City of Skellefteå, Sweden and the home of the Pite-Rönnskär lighthouse. It was built in 1905, and is surrounded by hundreds of islands – ideal for exploring the outdoors. The islands’ beauty combined with the engineering and ingenuity of the lighthouse were the essence of what the Point 65 brand wanted to achieve.
Founded in 1996, Point 65 is now the leading outdoor brand in Europe, and one of the fastest growing outdoor brands in the world. Point 65’s products are sold all over the world, with innovation as their hallmark.
Point 65 has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognition from multiple renowned kayaking magazines and authorities.
Dedicated to quality, form, and function, Point 65 is innovative, their products are functional, and their design is Scandinavian. Their mission is to inspire people to use the outdoors, through innovative, unique, and outstanding products.
Point 65 is the company behind the ingenious, practical, modular take-apart kayaks, and the Rum Runner modular stand up paddleboard (SUP). These modular water crafts easily snap together to form one solid boat, and snap apart for easy transportation and storage.
On top of their modular kayaks and the Rum Runner modular standup paddleboard, Point 65 also offers a wide range of state-of-the-art bags and hard shell backpacks - which double as the highest rated spine protectors in the world while protecting and keeping your gear dry. These packs were previously known as “Boblbee”.
The Point 65 Team
Point 65 has some amazing members on their team. These members include the ultimate test paddler, Freya Hoffmeister, one of the leading designers in Scandinavia, Magnus De Brito, and the living paddling legend, Nigel Foster.
Magnus De Brito brought advanced marine technology with him to Point 65. He designed the award-winning modular kayaks Apollo, Tequila!, Martini, and Mercury, and also the Rum Runner modular standup paddleboard. He also designs state-of-the-art touring kayaks, such as the XP18, XP18 Spyder, and the Freya Expedition. The Freya Expedition was named after Freya Hoffmeister, and she also helped Magnus design it.
Nigel Foster – referred to by many as a living paddling legend – strengthened the Point 65 team in 2004, by bringing his legacy and the history of modern paddling with him. Not only is Nigel Foster an international kayak teacher and icon of modern sea kayaking, he has also designed 6 sea kayaks, and his international reputation is built on his designs. Nigel is the designer behind Point 65’s Whiskey 16, Double Shot, and Nigel Foster Paddles.
